Italian wire rod prices increase
Italian mesh-quality wire rod prices are increasing in transactions by €30/tonne ($36) from the lows seen in July, mills and buyers tell Kallanish.
Producers are pushing prices up to €445/t ex-works. While some buyers have been restocking so far this month, the general volume of sales remains disappointing, with the majority of customers only purchasing small quantities.
