Italian wire rod prices decline on slow activity
Slow orders and weak demand continue for Italian wire rod in May, after steelmakers reduced output in April to balance supply and demand.
May has been a difficult month so far, with most drawing mills refusing to purchase domestically or on the import market, where competitive offers have resurfaced.
