Italian wire rod prices to increase again
Italian wire rod producers are pushing up their prices for April by €20/tonne ($23) month-on-month as demand from end users and drawing mills remains sustained, sellers and buyers tell Kallanish.
Wire rod and its derivatives are in high demand, particularly from appliances and kitchen makers. However, sales volumes have slightly weakened in recent days as customers have ordered fewer tonnages because of the upcoming Easter holiday break.
