Italian wire rod market deadlock deepens
The Italian wire rod market continues to stagnate. Steelmakers and drawing mills are resuming work after the Easter break but several buyers will again idle their plants next week on 22 April only to reopen on 2 May due to the bank holidays of 25 April and 1 May, Kallanish notes.
