Italian wire rod prices lower before August shutdowns
Italian wire rod prices have lowered by €10/tonne ($11.2/t) month-on-month as sales volumes continue to stagnate, market participants tell Kallanish. As with last month this is due to slow demand, competition from cheaper imported material and uncertainty.
