Italian tube prices may increase in March
The Italian tube market is stagnating and the level of discount is increasing, market sources tell Kallanish. Prices are forecast to increase in March however.
Most Italian tube-makers are being asked to pay an increase of €20/t ($22/t) for hot rolled coils next month. They will attempt therefore to recover the discount points lost in January and February and put prices up by €20-25/t on average depending on tube grade.
