Italian steel output continues to grow
Production volumes by Italian steelmakers have continued to grow further during July, registering the fourteenth consecutive month of growth, according to the local steelmakers' association Federacciai.
In July crude steel production was up by 0.7% year-on-year to 2.1 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. During the first seven months of the year this registered a growth of 3.2% y-o-y and of over 5% compared with the same period in 2016.
