Italian stainless scrap prices falter on low demand
Italian stainless steel scrap prices are have flattened in new contracts compared to those of January, merchants in the country tell Kallanish.
The market however is particularly uncertain due to lower demand from mills. As demand continues to be weak, sales of finished products are also at low levels and this situation is a common feature in all European countries, sources say.
