Italian stainless scrap values fall
Prices for stainless scrap in Italy are falling in October after another month-on-month decline in September due to lower nickel prices, Kallanish hears.
Grade 304 material without blend is expected to reach €1,100/tonne ($1,266/t) delivered on average, a m-o-m fall of over €70/t compared to the beginning of September. With blend, prices can reach €1,160-1,170/t on average delivered.
Meanwhile €1,600/t should be paid for grade 31…
