Italian stainless scrap prices decline
Italian stainless steel scrap prices are falling versus April by €60/tonne ($65) on average, in line with other European countries. This month, local mills are ordering less material and reducing output of both long and flat products due to persisting weak demand for finished stainless steel, sources tell Kallanish.
