Italian stainless scrap values increase
Italian stainless scrap prices are moving upwards compared to last month in new March contracts. This applies primarily to the more common grade 304 and is due to the recent rise in nickel prices. Prices increased by €50/tonne ($56.5/t) month-on-month on average.
Contracts for grade 304 have reached €1,060-1,080/t delivered this month, up from €1,030/t in February, Kallanish hears from merchants.
