Italian sections prices to increase again
Italian heavy sections producers are mulling another €20/tonne ($24) increase after prices for beams already soared by €30/t in December compared to the lows seen in early November. The increases are in line with growing scrap values, market participants tell Kallanish.
Domestic beam sales volumes however remain moderate this month with no change from November, distribution and producer sources say.
