Italian scrap sales fall with holidays imminent
July has been a particularly quiet market for Italian scrap, with activity now coming to a standstill. Mills are not in a purchasing mood and many merchants are closing next week for the August break, forced to shut down earlier than usual due to poor demand, market participants tell Kallanish.
