Italian scrap prices to increase again
Italian scrap prices will continue to increase in June as the price craze continues. Values are seen increasing by a further €20/tonne ($24), sources tell Kallanish.
Italy remains the European country where scrap values are highest, particularly for expensive grades such as new arisings E8 and shredded E40, currently in short supply and high demand.
