Italian scrap prices rise again
Prices for Italian scrap have risen by a further €10/tonne ($12) on average compared to last week, pushed up by skyrocketing international values, Kallanish learns from market sources. Some larger merchants have stopped sales in December and will ask for significant increases for late-December contracts.
Spot transactions for shredded grade E40 have gained €15/t versus the beginning of this month, reaching €280-285/t delivered depending on grade.
