Italian scrap prices flatten supported by short supply
Despite some Italian mills trying to lower their scrap purchasing prices for June by €5/tonne ($5.5/t) compared to May, June prices remain stable. As sales volumes for long products in Italy have been low with stable or falling prices, domestic scrap prices are supported mainly by the current short supply, Kallanish learns from market sources.
