Italian scrap prices begin to increase
The Italian scrap price downtrend has reversed, with values now seen increasing to the levels seen in September. Prices are already ticking up by €20-30/tonne ($23-34) in recent contracts and are forecast to continue increasing significantly, particularly for the most demanded grades such as new arisings E8, market participants tell Kallanish.
