Italian scrap market quietens amid uncertainty
Italian scrap demand has been heavily reduced this week. Both mills and merchants are looking at the wider international scene for guidance amid biting uncertainty. Some mills are requesting material, but others are not in need of scrap due to the downturn in finished long and flat products markets.
