Italian scrap market goes quiet amid price falls
The Italian scrap market remains quiet after prices declined by €20-50/tonne ($23-58) in the first week of September. Mills are however trying this week to decrease their values by up to €60/t for certain categories. This is in line with French and German trends, sources tell Kallanish.
