Italian scrap market cools amid price decline
The Italian scrap price decline was confirmed last week. Values are falling by €5/tonne ($5.8) for the higher, most-demand grades and €10-20/t for the lower qualities. Demand is softening as some mills have stopped receiving scrap after stocking up high tonnages of seaborne scrap imports, sources tell Kallanish.
