Italian scrap declines, mills foreseen further reducing prices

Italian scrap values are declining €20/tonne ($22/t) in new February contracts. This is in line with falling Turkish scrap prices and domestic long products prices, Kallanish notes. The Italian longs and scrap markets are particularly uncertain, with mills requesting limited scrap.
