Italian scrap keeps ticking up
Italian scrap prices are confirming their upward trend and rising by €5/tonne ($5.5/t) week-on-week for certain grades, industry sources tell Kallanish.
Local mills are now paying €220-235/t delivered for E1 demolition grade and €10/t less for the lower demolition grade E3. Shredded grade E40 has also climbed to €230-235/t delivered, or €5/t more week-on-week, sources reveal. Mills are paying €235/t delivered for grade E8 mixed…
