Italian scrap remains stable, demand low
Italian scrap prices are set to remain stable in the second half of July, but demand remains low with no change from last week, market participants tell Kallanish.
Smaller mills are delaying deliveries of contracts signed now until next week or in some cases even September. They are purchasing small tonnages with stable prices on June. Larger mills, however, are receiving scrap for July contracts.
