Italian scrap import contracts tick up
Italian scrap import transaction prices from France and Germany are increasing this month by some €5/tonne ($5.4) on average. Demand has been high so far in November, but material availability remains the issue, particularly for the most demanded grades such as E40 shredded and E5 steel turnings, sources in the sector tell Kallanish.
