Italian scrap prices level out
Italian scrap prices will remain steady for the reminder of October compared to the first half of the month, sources in the industry tell Kallanish.
This follows an unsettled period for the sector in September and October but since Turkish prices started to rise, Italian scrap appears to have stopped falling, sources say. Demand for material remains weak however with low tonnages of scrap being sold in a market still heavily affected by uncertainty.
