Italian scrap falls on low demand
Italian scrap activity is again slow this week as lack of demand and consequent poor sales activity are seriously slowing the market, sources tell Kallanish.
Only a few mills are still receiving material as most Italian producers have closed. The few contracts that have been negotiated however in recent days have indicated a price fall of €20/tonne ($21/t) on average.
