Italian rebar market stagnates
Italian rebar prices are stable compared to last week but bids are falling and market activity remains sluggish due to uncertainty, Kallanish learns from sources.
The current paid price for domestic rebar this week starts at €210/tonne ($239.4/t) base ex-works and rises to €220/t ex-works for smaller tonnages. Some buyers however are only willing to pay €205/t, sources suggest.
