Italian rebar prices fall
Italian rebar prices are falling by €10/tonne ($11) compared to October. This is due to lower demand and is in line with falling scrap prices.
Kallanish learns from market participants that current contracts are being agreed at €135-145/t base ex-works. The high point of the range is rarer and for small tonnages. Including €260/t average size extras, current values are now at €395-410/t ex-works, sources say.
