Italian rebar prices fall
Italian rebar prices are declining by approximately €40/tonne ($42) on average on-month due to persistent low sales volumes and a stagnating market, sources tell Kallanish.
Distributors confirm they implemented purchases last week but for small tonnages. One says some public works in the railway sector are starting in central Italy, but no new private residential construction projects are being financed.
