Italian rebar prices decline but orders rise
Italian rebar prices are declining on-week by €20/tonne ($22). However, some increases are expected to be implemented by producers before they shut down production for stoppages in August, sources tell Kallanish.
Mills are reporting a good level of orders for July so far, despite purchases continuing to be carried out only back-to-back. Distributors say they have some orders from both public and private contraction projects.
