Italian rebar prices continue to weaken
Italian rebar prices are falling again by a further €20/tonne ($23) on average compared to last week, sources tell Kallanish.
After see-sawing at the beginning of the month, prices have been steadily falling each week. Producers have had to give up the quotes they had held since the beginning of September of €490/t base ex-works.
Domestic sales remain weak, with buyers ordering less than usual and insisting on their wait-and-see attitude. Small contract…
