Italian rebar market improves after stagnation
Following weak activity and see-sawing prices last week, Italian domestic rebar contracts are this week fetching a solid €10/tonne ($11/t) hike compared to the beginning of the month.
This follows a price decline of €10-20/t for July and August delivery in the first days of the month. However, improved export sales and less availability are helping to push values up, sources say.
