Italian rebar makers timidly push up prices
Italian rebar makers are pushing up prices by €50/tonne ($52) compared to the beginning of the month, although they are starting from slightly lower levels compared to other European countries, sources tell Kallanish.
Transaction values are nevertheless stable week-on-week and the market remains quiet. Producers, impacted by uncertainty and low visibility, are now asking for €350/t base ex-works, but transactions this week remain at €280-300/t base …
