Italian rebar makers seek more increases

Italian rebar producers are pushing up their prices again this week by €100/tonne ($109) after stopping sales last week. Material availability is beginning to tighten. Steelmakers in Italy implemented stoppages last week and are now reducing output. Some are producing three or four days per week, while others are reducing shifts due to the high cost of energy.
