Italian rebar makers seek increases on short supply
Italian rebar producers have pushed up their prices up by €20/tonne ($21/t) before closing down this week, Kallanish learns from market sources.
Transaction prices, however, remain stable on last week at €120-125/t base ex-works on average. Including size extras, ex-works prices remain at €380-385/t, sources say. There are very few sales this week as producers shut down and the country is on lockdown.
