Italian rebar makers seek price increases
Some Italian rebar producers are asking for a €20/tonne ($22/t) increase on October as their asking prices are reaching €170/t base ex-works, agents and sales executives in the market tell Kallanish. This is in line with current increases in domestic scrap values.
