Italian rebar makers continue to withhold offers
Italian rebar producers continue not to quote this week after they stopped sales at the end of last week and are expected to come back to quoting at increased prices. While scrap prices are stable in the country for the moment, the recent conflict in Israel and Palestine has pushed up energy prices. Producers do not know what price to quote for the end of October and November given the uncertainty and low visibility, sources tell Kallanish.
