Italian rebar hikes again, high prices hamper trade
Italian rebar prices are increasing again by €30/tonne ($36) compared to last week in both contracts and producers’ asking prices.
Rebar-makers are quoting €470-480/t base ex-works. Contracts are following and stand at €450-480/t base ex-works. Including size extras, this week’s range stands at €710-740/t ex-works.
