Italian rebar fails to increase
Italian rebar prices remain stable for the moment compared to December, Kallanish learns from rebar buyers and sellers.
Despite attempts to increase rebar prices on the back of costlier domestic scrap, transaction base prices still remain at €160/tonne ($177/t) ex-works this week. The average price including €260/t size extras is now at €410-420/t ex-works, sources say.
