Italian plate prices rise
Italian plates prices are moving upwards in line with the price increases for all flat products in the country, market sources tell Kallanish.
From last week’s producers’ level of €520/tonne ($588.5/t) for S275, asking prices are now up by €20-30/t this week. Last week there were the last transactions at €520-525/t for the basic grade and €545/t for the higher S355 grade. Prices now start at €550/t base ex-work…
