Italian pig iron to rise despite low demand
Italian pig iron import prices are seen increasing next week to the level of $390-400/tonne cfr as some sales are expected to take place after a lull that has lasted through summer, market sources tell Kallanish. Pig iron transactions have not increased yet in line with international prices because sales in September have been scarce.
