Italian pig iron prices flatten
Italian pig iron prices are mostly stable compared to last week, with stability forecast also in the coming weeks. Demand is quiet and no recent deals have been reported by distributors buying directly from Russian producers allowed to sell in Europe, sources tell Kallanish.
Ukrainian producers continue not quoting in Italy and demand from domestic mills is considered to be slow due to poor finished product sales performance amid declining prices.
