Italian pig iron prices decline
Italian pig iron demand is back after the summer lull with buyers purchasing material and both mills and foundries resuming production. Over recent days however, pig iron prices decreased by some $20/tonne in the latest contracts implemented by distributors which purchase directly from the Russian producers allowed to sell in Europe, sources tell Kallanish.
