Italian pig iron offer prices fall
Italian pig iron import offers have fallen significantly from November, by $40/tonne on average compared to offers and contracts implemented last month.
Italian prices two weeks ago were at $585-590/t cfr for merchant pig iron bought by distributors from the CIS region to replenish stocks at the port of Marghera, the main Italian steel hub.
