Italian pig iron market quiet continues
The Italian pig iron market remains quiet, with relatively low demand and stable on-week prices from traditional CIS suppliers. After buyers remained absent from the market in October, some interest is now returning, but limited availability continues to hamper trade. Ukrainian pig iron suppliers continue to channel material towards the US at higher prices than Italian levels, Kallanish hears.
