Italian pig iron flattens, billet demand increases

Italian pig iron prices are stable compared to previous transactions reported ten days ago. Demand remains sluggish and low offers from Brazil at $640/tonne (€539) cfr Italy, as well as lower-grade pig iron from Asia at $620/t cfr are beginning to undermine stability.
