Italian pig iron prices dip
Italian pig iron prices are falling by $20/tonne (€17.4/t) as expected, despite the fact that the availability in consignment stock at ports has improved, Kallanish learns from market sources.
Material usually bought by distributors from the Donetsk Peoples’ Republic has lost $20/t month-on-month and is now offered at $330-340/t cif. This is contributing towards dragging prices down.
