Italian mills seek €50 scrap reduction

Italian scrap sellers and buyers are currently negotiating new contracts. Some mills intend to decrease their purchasing values by €50/tonne ($60), while others are talking about a €30-40/t decrease compared to last month. Merchants are still delivering material at high January prices. Some mills are bidding for E40 shredded grades at €335/t delivered.
