Italian mills try to reduce scrap costs
Some Italian mills are lowering their scrap purchasing prices for June by €5/tonne (€5.4/t) compared to May. While the current uncertainty is adversely affecting sales, the short supply is also seen supporting prices in the country next month, sources say.
