Italian mills to explore use of nuclear energy
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Italian steelmakers association Federacciai and energy companies EDF, Edison, Ansaldo Energia, and Ansaldo Nucleare. The firms will explore the use of nuclear energy in the steelmaking process as a means to reduce carbon emissions.
